Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) - this all-rounder vitamin is responsible for many tasks in the body. Among these tasks, vitamin C is also responsible for many tasks in the immune system.

Water that is heated to 80°C can destroy up to 60% of the vitamin C content naturally found in potatoes and other vegetables. For this reason, fruit and vegetables should be eaten fresh as often as possible. One should also avoid storing them in the refrigerator for long periods of time.
